Hollywood Haiku Runner Up

I am delighted to say that (while I wasn't a Hollywood Haiku winner) my second entry, Chocolat, was a runner up in the competition. It's certainly a 1st for me!

Click the above link to see the winning entries along with mine and other runners up, including the talented Ellie Garratt who was a fellow runner up in the competition.

I enjoyed the fact that as participants were able to haiku about any film we liked and then post our entries onto our own blogs rather than sending the haiku off, so that the judges visited our blogs to consider them and then they contacted us with the results.

Did you follow this competition?

This week's theme: Future

Signs for the future
Looking ahead, not behind
With positive steps

Haiku runner-up
The prize slips through my fingers
Maybe win next time?

Back to the future
Will they ever get it right?
Only time will tell.
